New bionic release to resolve upstream bug XERCES-2130?

Hi,

The current release in bionic (3.2.0) has a bug reported upstream, https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XERCESC-2130 , which is fixed in version 3.2.1.

Will this or a later version be released in bionic?

I suggest you report a bug with this against Ubuntu to make the devs aware.

There are PPAs with a newer version for bionic, e.g. ppa:savoury1/backports
Maybe that can serve as a workaround for you
