Why was this not included in Jammy?

The guest agent for xen servers appears to have been dropped from the jammy repos. Was this intentional?

This is all the information that was found during my search.
Seems to be an abandon package, since 2019-10-18.
How ever you could file a bug report with Debian.

Ubuntu is a derived from Debian, which avoids package duplicates.
File a Debian bug report to see if they continue the package,
if Debian does the next Ubuntu release will have the package after
Debian's release.
Explain how the package effects your system not having it,
how others could benefit having the package.
Maybe the package would be considered to be continued.
