The games won't run. Thee are files in the windows folder as well as registry entries which will NOT be present in wine. The ONLY way this wil work is if the game is extremely portable. You need to install the game using wine

Well, it's not impossible.

You'll need to make the Windows drive writeable, symlink the appropriate folders into ~/.wine/drive_c/, export the registry from within Windows and import the correct parts (possibly fixing locations) into Wine.

It sounds like a lot but I've done it before with several games and once you get the rhythm of it, it's not that bad, but of course, if you only _just_ installed Ubuntu, it might be somewhat tricky.

If you just want to see if the game will run without adding appropriate registry info, open the folder containing the game on the Windows drive, tight click the game executable and select Open with...>Wine Windows Program Loader.

Can you help with this problem?
