chromecast not found in vlc

Since update to ubuntu 20.04 vlc does not find the chromecast as renderer.

Other tools (gupnp-universal-cp, chromium) find the chromecast.

Do you have any hint, how I can find out why vlc does not find chromecast?

When I start vlc with "--verbose 2" and open the renderer menu I see the following output:

But I'm not able to understand what this means.

I searched the web for the problem and there are hints about
* firewall: I have no firewall installed.
* libmicrodns/protobuf: these packages are not available for ubuntu?

Any tipp how to find out the cause of the problem would be helpful.

If you make a fresh Ubuntu user and log in as that does it work OK?

I've created a new user and logged in to this new account: same problem VLC does not find chromecast (chromium works).

Kein apt-Paket "protobuf", es ist aber ein Snap-Paket mit dem Namen vorhanden.

Does this mean vlc with rendering on chromecast is not supported in Ubuntu 20.4?

Versuchen Sie dieses Paket. Seit Jahren versuchen die VLC-Entwickler, Chromecast Viewing in VLC aufzunehmen. Patente im Besitz von Google zu tun haben, mit in der Lage, es zu sehen oder nicht. [VLC Being Open Source] Ich entschuldige mich für die letzten zwei Pakete.
Yes rendering with VLC on chromecast is not supported in Ubuntu.
