I am a new user using 64 bit Ubuntu 12.04 ,when opening .wmv files through VLC getting error as follows "No suitable decoder module: VLC does not support the audio or video format "MSS2". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this." TIA 4 solution

Have you tried viewing the video using mplayer instead of vlc player?

Also try installing the newest version of vlc by running the following Terminal commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:djcj/vlc-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install vlc
