How tu connect remote from UBUNTU to Win XP

Hi i want to connect remotely and have full access an other computer.
The computer i want to connect to, run Windows XP Pro.
The computer i am working on to connect the remote have Ubuntu 10 version (last one)
Those 2 computer are connected on a Linksys router, so it will be a local connection.
(I could connect to the remote computer if i do-it from a computer who run a Windows environment.)
please give me a step by step description to do it.

I am trying to do it, in the window i type the IP of the remote computer, 192.168.X.XXX, and my connection close right away.
thanks for your help.
