anybody tell me how to mount? i was basic user

can any one each me how to mount
Error displaying while i click mount
"Unable to Mount 20 GB file System
Error mounting : mount exited with
exitcode 1:helper failed with:
mount:only root can mount/dev/sda1 on /media/6248fbbe48fb8f53

Can you try putting sudo in front of the mount command:

sudo /dev/sda1 /media/6248fbbe48fb8f53

Sorry command should read:

sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/6248fbbe48fb8f53
