upstart package

Upgrade upstart to new version without whole system upgrade

Hello,
I have problems making to work upstart 1.5 scripts on the older version of upstart/ubuntu :

we have group of servers having Ubuntu 11.04 and upstart 0.9.7.

Is it possible to upgrade upstart to at least version 1.5 directly by installing debian package dedicated to newer ubuntu version without full ubuntu upgrade as I don't have such rights.
