Looking for a command line for terminal to repair

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
 Help will be greatly appreciated

sudo dpkg --configure -a in the terminal==>enter==>password
