unable to install drivers in backtrack 5 r3

when ever i try to install the compiled tar package it gives error about the bcmwl kernel-source

i'm a total noob in the world of linux

Backtrack is not supported in this forum. We only provide support for Ubuntu.

It's also based on Lucid which is not longer supported on the desktop in any way by Canonical or the Ubuntucommunity.
