Why is the Software Updater not called Update Center, since we already have a Software Center?
Asked by
Michele Kipiel
like i said in the summary: we have an application called software center, a name that communicates perfectly the fact that everything the user may need, he will find it through that application.
In my opinion calling the software updater "update center" could help naming consistency across core applications and give the user a reassuring feeling about something as important as system updates.
what do you think?
ps. i posted this question here because i couldn't find the software updater lauchpad entry, i hope it's not a problem :)
