Upgrading from present 11.10 Beta version to stable version on Oct

Asked by James Peters

I am presently running the beta version of Oeneric Ocelot 11.10,my question is ,do I have to reinstall the operating system from a fresh ISO disc when the official stable version arrives or does 11.10 upgrade from the unstable Beta version I am presently using via updates etc,its just a question I have been pondering on,I upgraded from Mav Meerkat about a week ago, thanks for any advice on this in advance, best regards P.J.T.

No, you don't need to install Ubuntu again, if you update every day it will be like the new stable release.
