After two and a half days of adding/deleting files, cut/paste, running a slew of commands updating, numerous reboots, etc...results in the same EXACT ERROR MESSAGE. UNABLE TO UPDATE.
With every new distribution of Ubuntu it behaves more and more Windows-like or so it seems to many.
Maybe I should just delete 10.10 (and hundreds of personal files and setups) and do a clean install
of 11.04...that might be faster?
PS. Evolution still does NOT save passwords a problem that apparently will be resolved by eliminating
it from 11.10 and replacing it with the more problem-prone Thunderbird.
thank you.
