I am not able to upgrade to Ubuntu 9.10 I keep getting the following error messages:

W:Failed to fetch http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/karmic-security/Release Unable to find expected entry main'./binary-i386/Packages in Meta-index file (malformed Release file?)
