what is the terminal sudo command to network upgade ubuntu 6.06 to 8.04

 cant get system upgrade to upgrade my ubuntu 6.06 to 8.04 so i want to do it through the terminal but i don't know the command

As the release 6.06 is already End of Live you have to use specific procedures, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades/Dapper
