Indicator from Unity8 get mixed with Unity7

Hi all,

I installed Unity8 from the Software Center in Ubuntu 13.10 32bits, along with all main apps (web-browser, gallery...) just out of curiosity (I have no coding abilities whatsoever).

But now, every time I boot my computer, I get two different network icons on my Unity 7 panel. The second one has a small lock on it, and is the Unity 8 indicator. To remove it, I have to run Unity 8 and close it. I'm not sure if it's considered as a bug, but I'll be happy to file one if needed.

On a similar note, the same kind of mix happens when I receive a message on Empathy. Phone and SMS appear in my messaging menu and the message is treated as both phone call and SMS. This is more of a problem because it prevents me from opening a conversation in Empathy (even when I go directly in Empathy, the window won't open).

Again, I'll be glad to file a bug if needed.
