chromium browser error 16.04

Hi
I have problem with all my video player. Totem, vlc,mpv, smp player and mplayer. they all play ok once i launch the chromium or Mozilla browsers , all the video players does not play properly on my dell latitude E6400 running ubuntu 16.04 on Cairo dock

What happens when you play video without opening the browsers? Any error messages?

it plays ok. once i open the browser it plays bad
