evolution frequently shutting down and logging off after blank screen.

whenever evolution is started it crashes down violently by closing all other programs and a black screen occurs which is followed by login screen. i am using ubuntu 16.04 LTS and it is up dated as on 22 june 2017 IST.

did not run the script, but it seems to be resolved for now after updating intel graphic drivers for skylake chipset. stock drivers with ubuntu 16.04 were a disaster on skylake but were smooth like wine glass for older chips.
