Just this would have done:

The rest is useless.

Have you tried the boot option:

nomodeset

Wasn't sure what other, if any, info you might need to know. If you mean did I boot from flash drive then yes. If you mean something else you will have to clarify. Ubuntu is installed on flash drive as if it were a hard drive. Or so I thought. I followed instructions from Ubuntu.com.

That's fine, sometimes the Intel GPU chipset has an issue with the kernel display timings and the option helps
