Will Canonical reconsider in getting Gnome classic look in 11.10? (how to install Ubuntu classical gnome interface in Ubuntu 11.10 oneiric)

Asked by svens

I'm not that into Unity or whatever the newer interfaces are called now, I was wondering if we should be switching to KDE or enterprise class OSes that do offer a classic look interface.

It's not that hard to switch to Classic Gnome. Have a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoe06RbPa1A&feature=player_embedded

I think that applies to 11.04 only.
11.10 I think offers gnome-session-fallback which is not the same as classic.
