Is there a "quit" or "exit" command once the app is running?

Asked by hillhopper

I use "units" quite often, but have no other way to end the terminal program but to close the terminal window. Most other terminal apps have an exit, close, quit command and return the command line to the system prompt.

If a program is running, then you'll have to close your terminal to
stop it, otherwise, if nothing is running, try clear screen command.

Actually, you don't have to exit terminal to stop it. If a program is hanging, quitting the terminal won't do much and will allow that process to strain the CPU.

Assuming this is command-line, a better solution is to hit CTRL and C

What his does is quit the process and bring you back to terminal window.

Hope this helps!
