Mobile Setup Wizard

Asked by Tom

Hi

I have 2 wireless dongles attached to the machine (sorry). When i first installed this fresh install of Ubuntu 9.04 and then rebooted into it a pop-up Wizard appeared and guided me through setting up one of them but i set the wrong one for the wrong network. I was wondering if it's possible to restart the wizard or altrnatively is it possible to get the settings i need for the vodafone one?

Basic
 Number
 Username
 Password
Advanced
 APN
 Network
 Pin
 Puk

I guess these las 2 are specific to my vodafone dongle but i think the rest are all standard fro vodafone?
I am thinking about removing te current wireless connctions i has in th hope that it might force the Wizard to popup again?

Thanks and regards from
Tom :)

Try adding the dongles one by one. I have two of them. One is for my UMTS and one for Bluetooth. In my case I have to add them after Ubuntu had booted.

yes my dongles seemed to have become muddled when i accidentally tried to set the Vodafone one to access the O2 network. This quickly became clear and easy to fix when i rebooted with just the Vodafone one in.

Thanks Rob :))
