Download 11.04 Ubuntu attempted to burn ISO to disk. Didn't work. Clean-now dead disk. I am a real novice. Bug is me doing something wrong. Will attempt to download Ubuntu 11.04 from School SIte. So Bug is likely me trying to learn how to work OOS .
Yes I am relatively sure it is me. A friend at school burned me a disc. But it was unsupported to I got a prompt to update/grade to Ubuntu 11.4. It downloaded but it did not seem to work. The program is running parallel to Win07 and office 2010. I am not sure about what to do. Delete the download? I did not burn a 11.04 copy to a disc-only wrote one empty file. Ruined disk complete waste of time and money.
I found a download site for it in the Linux resource center from school I will download that. Will that overwrite what I have or not. Do I delete this program and start over??!!
Looking for best option. I am on my own with this stuff as this is an online course could use a tutor for this to pass Linux+ Certification. That is another thing. I have a set of numbers or a product key to download an exam practice or simulator but cannot download that either. I am wasting a lot of time trying to figure this out on my own. So there will be some issues.
Thanks,
Susan g Palm
