[Feature Request] Report date of next release on schedule.

Asked by Bharath

I have currently reported a bug - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-release-upgrader/+bug/1605474

The error I currently get is -

$ sudo do-release-upgrade
Checking for a new Ubuntu release
No new release found.

It might have been helpful if the error message said -

$ sudo do-release-upgrade
Checking for a new Ubuntu release
No new release found - Next release expected to be available on 2016-06-28.

The meta file cold have an entry for the next release in the schedule / roadmap. This would save a lot of people a lot of time and trouble.

Is this the right place to make such a request?

You can use the Xenial install media to upgrade the system. I'm not sure why it's not available yet. The point release is out.

This is a feature request. I don't care that the Xenial media is out.

Is this not the proper place to put in a feature request? Could anyone point me out to the right platform for putting in a feature request?
