KUbuntu LiveCD - hanging because of btrfs
I lately installed KUbuntu with the LiveCD, using btrfs as filesystems (/ and /home).
Because the system crashed (noveau driver makes my graphics card crashing with 15.04 before the first kernel update), I ended up in a borked state where it won't boot any longer.
So I went to re-install, put in the usb flash drive (which I used to install it before), and - the livecd didn't boot any longer.
I removed the quiet and splash options to see what's going on, and it seemed to hang after probing my btrfs file systems. It never got back from there. I thought maybe it's scanning the devices, and gave it 30 Minutes, but it was still at the same state.
So I booted in a different LiveCD (archlinux) and removed the btrfs file systems. After that the LiveCD did boot properly again. For this reason (and for the reason that I couldn't boot with btrfs for yet-unkown-reasons after a kernel update, a bug for that exists already), I chose ext4 now.
So I guess either btrfs tools are borked, or the at least the probing of the btrfs file systems during bootup of the livecd.
