totem package

cant see videos with mkv extension on totem or vlc player

Binary package hint: totem

when i play a video with totem or vlc players, i just can hear the sound but not see the video. Hardy Heron 8.04

the issue is not specific to totem and seems rather a codec required than a bug, changing to an user question

You should probably install the medibuntu repository for packages with
better codecs support (but less free).
