Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report and subsequently we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs.

For help on reporting bugs, see https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs .

The Movie I was trying to play is a DVD called, "The Fountain" with Hugh Jackman & Rachel Weisz and is in Dual Layer Format but it used to play on my DVD player which is a Matshita DVD ram UJ 8455, when I had the XP operating system. I have a Acer 5670 Laptop Computer if that helps.

I went into Snaptic Package Manager and asked for package updates and that took care of my problem. I am still pretty new to the Linux, & Ubuntu 7.10 system and program.
