Brother printer will not print.

Hi, I have had this problem before when using Ubuntu 11.10 but was able to get it working by changing some numbers in the file system, Usr Lib ???, cannot remember after that, but when I upgraded to 12.04 the upgrade didn't work properly so I had to download to disk then install. I have all the files downloaded from Brother and Ubuntu recognizes the correct printer but it just doesn't print. Thank you for any help that is available,

Try deleting the printer and powering off the device. Reboot and logon and setup the printer as usual. If it doesnt work then repeat but setup the printer using http:localhost:631

Hi, I have tried deleting and rebooting before but still nothing. The downloads from brother are of a poor quality so tried using http:localhost:631 problem solved. Thank you very much.
