was trying to delete some files on totem that are no good, but it will not give me that option

Asked by crosbyfan

When I go to delete files in the playlist that are no good, it will not give me that option, it just opens them up and cannot play them. I have removed them everywhere else on my system that I can see, but it still hasn't worked. I want these files right off of my system. thank you very much

The description you provided isn't very clear to me but if I understand you problem correctly, I think you are referring to the short list of files embedded into the "movie" menu.

That list is a list of recently opened files and it can be cleared by going into the following top panel menu:

"Places" -> "Recent Documents" -> "Clear History" (or something similar, my menus are in french)

Note that doing so will not delete the files themselves, only there names into the list.

Hope that helps.
