Asked by Mary Murphy

 Is not possible to just download straight from the net?

Why bother when 2 commands will do it all for you?

You can launch a terminal using CTRL+ALT+T or you can search dash for terminal and run that, the 2 commands given will give you DVD playback in any media player

Do this:
1. Open a terminal by hitting CTRL + ALT + T
2. Insert and run this command (copy one per time, paste in the terminal and press enter):
sudo apt-get install libdvdread4

sudo wget --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/$(lsb_release -cs).list && sudo apt-get --quiet update && sudo apt-get --yes --quiet --allow-unauthenticated install medibuntu-keyring && sudo apt-get --quiet update

sudo apt-get install libdvdcss2

3. Try to play dvd now.

I opened a terminal, and pasted the commands one by one, but for both libdvdcss2 and libdvdcss4 it says command prompt not found?

When I paste per line into the command line it asks me for "[sudo] password for mary:" but won't allow me to enter anything and I am not sure what my [sudo] password can be?

mary@mary-Aspire-5610Z:~$ sudo apt-get install libdvdread4
[sudo] password for mary:
