Receive mails from thunderbird

Hi Guys

cannot receive mail on my yahoo account from thunderbird am getting this error

The RETR command did not succeed. Error retrieving a message. Mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com responded: problem retrieving message.

could be many reasons
is your email and password right have you set up the server setting probably

 use the yahoo mail servers address (for yahoo.com address)
* Incoming Mail Server (POP3): plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 995
* Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Use SSL, port: 465, use authentication

And for yahoo mail servers address (for yahoo.co.uk address)
* Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 995
* Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smpt.mail.yahoo.co.uk
Use SSL, port: 465
do you use yahoo plus of not you might have to upgrade
