TeXStudio 2.10.8 comes with Ubuntu 16.04?

There are lot of important bug fixes in 2.10.6 and 2.10.8:
http://texstudio.sourceforge.net/manual/current/CHANGELOG.txt

Many texstudio users (including me) would be happy to find the latest version in the upcoming LTS version.

The only chance I see is that Debian upgrades to the 2.10.8 version within the coming days, such that by Feb 18 (FeatureFreeze and DebianImportFreeze day for Ubuntu 16.04) the new version has already proven to be well working on Debian.

So I doubt that Ubuntu will have the new version in 16.04.

Creating bug reports in the Debian and Ubuntu bug trackers might stimulate the upgrade.
