converted files to MP3 have all a size of 1,3KB

What are you converting from? How are you using the app to convert the files?

 I'm converting from CD to MP3.
I add the files from CD to a special folder on my disc.

I don't use this app, but after a conversion it should create a logfile (which will be deleted when soundkonverter closes)
~/.kde/share/apps/soundkonverter/log

In case you may file a bug via 'report a problem' within the app or ask the developer

I installed the recommended files at http://wiki.ubuntuusers.de/Audiodateien_umwandeln.
After this I reinstalled the soundkonverter and now it works.
On the settings I adjusted in Backends-MP3-Kodierer-lame und decodierer-lame.
