Asked by brett

Hi,

I have recently had an update of soundKonverter 0.3.6 running on Ubuntu and suddenly the WAV output option dissapeared. Can anyone help?

Thx. Brett

Oops - when I think about it then it was in the same week as I update Ubuntu from Ver7 to Ver8 - it looks lke Ubunto might have dropped WAV support for SoundKonverter dueto some restrictionon types. Any one help?

Cheers Brett

that's very strange, soundkonverter doesn't treat wav as a real file format. every file is decoded to wav first and then encoded. so this can only be a program error - but i have never heard of this problem before. i would suggest to upgrade to the latest version 0.3.9 if possible.
