Software-properties-gtk not working

I just tried to add a repository to my software sources using the following Apt line:'ppa:mattaus123/mrw-gimp-svm' however,the(add source button)does not work in (software-properties-gtk).Could you please help?

Try:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:matthaeus123/mrw-gimp-svn; sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get upgrade

Make sure your PPA address is correct. I have corrected yours in my command.

If you are editting text and config files, edit them correctly :)
