ubuntu software center frozen trying to install DROPBOX
I am a new Linux/Ubuntu user. A friend told me it was better than Windows 7, so I installed it and when I got to the Ubuntu Software center and tried to install DROPBOX it got to 95% and has been FROZEN there forever
What I want to know is how do I kill the process?
I have Ubuntu 12.04.04
Evidently it isn't going to install DROPBOX, so I need to kill it because until I do, I cant install anything else while this process is running?
I AM A NEWBIE......SO PLEASE ANSWER WITH INSTRUCTIONS FOR AN UBUNTU IDIOT! :)

An OS isn't outright better than another. An OS is a tool for a job. People waning to play the latest games will want to use Windows as that is what their games are made for. Many people dual boot for this reason. Ubuntu is not always the answer.

If you press CTRL + ALT + T and run :
sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get install nautilus-dropbox
What is the full output?
When you type your password you will get no feedback but the input is being accepted
