update manager password (as I remeber) not accepted

I have been updating the software with a password, which is not working now. May be I have forgotten. Pl send me a password for updating software.

I am a DUMMY and do not have much knowledge about programmes.

The password you need is your user password or run the command as another user who can use sudo. If you are still stuck you can use this guide to reset your own password
