Want to find/remove 12.04 in partition

Hey:

   I've had it with Ubuntu 12.04 and it's derivitives. Now, what I need to do is remove 12.04 only!! Just get the 12.04 O.S. off my HDD so I can install another O.S. So, how do I find and remove 12.04/partition ONLY?

If you boot to ubuntu livecd you can label your partitions which will make it easier to identify.

You can even mount the partitions in turn and make notes of what partition is what then unmount all and label away
