How to uninstall Evolution & Banshee

Asked by Sukhendu Ghosal

I want to uninstall Evolution and banshee from my ubuntu 11.04 (64bit) and want to install thunderbird and VLC 2.0. I want to know how to remove them so that they cannot do any harm to my system(codec & other dependencies) . I also want to know is it possible to integrate thunderbird and VLC to gnome panel as evolution and banshee ?
thanks

Use Ubuntu Software Centre to uninstall Evolution and Banshee. Then, install Thunderbird and VLC. This apps can be easily integrated to gnome painel and Unity.

Hi, since Ubuntu 11.10 the default mail client is Thunderbird (Maybe you'd better to upgrade your ubuntu system...). Else use software center that does all for you without any problems
