cant play netflix on the mini laptop

just got this ubuntu program but i cant play netflix why?

i was able to watch netflix with window xp but since i put ubunto netflix doesnt work

Netflix does not yet work on linux for various reasons, there is lots of posts around the web that talk about it.

theres a lot of talk about linux getting netflix support, http://www.gizmolovers.com/2011/08/02/netflix-is-coming-to-linux-in-the-next-12-months-maybe/

though the only thing that i could tell you for certain is to install virtual box, and run a virtual instance of windows and watch netflix from that virtual machine. This can be a complicated resolution and would require a lot of patients. An easier solution if it works for you is to watch netflix on another piece of hardware that already has support, like ps3, wii, or a tv steaming box like boxee or roku.
