ubuntu Software center

i can not install any Software from my Software centre. when i try to install any software it show "applying changes" for a long time in-till i restart. when I restart, I saw nothing happened , I mean nothing was installed.

Go to System >Administrator> Synaptic Package Manager Then Search "software centre" . uncheck and click apply. then check software centre again and Click apply again (Do not click to reinstall).
