Is there an easy way to upgrade 10.04 to 10.10 without writing code commands?

Asked by Jerome (Jerry) Steven Faigin

Is there an easy way to upgrade 10.04 to 10.10 without writing code commands?

I'm disabled and my patience is limited. I just want to turn something on and let it work.

Same problem is similar with Adobe products too. My day has been nothing but a big headache and my pain pills only work so well.

Thank you for your time and help with the desk & laptops without the Microsoft virus!

Sincerely,
Jerome S. Faigin (Jerry)

Command line is not hard, you need 3 commands and it will work....

gksudo gedit /etc/update-manager/release-upgrades

Change:
Prompt=lts
To:
Prompt=normal

Save the file and close gedit, then run:

sudo apt-get install update-manager-core; sudo do-release-upgrade

Then it will upgrade. Simple

Can you expand on your "Adobe Products" issue too.

Thanks
