skype not dn loading properly

i have tried installing skype from software ctr it does say it is installed but no way to open program most installs show on sideboard this only goes as far as dn loads

You should uninstall sykpe via the software center and try the newest version from http://www.skype.com/intl/de/get-skype/on-your-computer/linux/
It fixes several bugs and has new features.

You can install skype from the skype website and it will be ok
