system not displaying incomming Skype video
Skype 2.2.0.35, Operating System Ubuntu 12.04 LTS; Not displaying incomming video. Displays outgoing video, tried all tick boxes in options. dmesg says 'Skype is using obsolete setsockopt SO_BSDCOMPAT. Help?

Hi Richard,
have you checked if you might not have closed ports on which Skype recieving and sending multicast packages? Try to look at your configurations on your system and see if problem gone.

Hi Miha
I finally solved this problem the other day by removing ~/.Skype . After this I could see the other parties video. but not my own. I then regained my video as well by pulling out the usb cable and putting it back . ie. by turning off and on the port connection. Thanks for all your help.
