In the software centre you can enable the partner repository and install skype. You will need to install wine too if you wish to use photoshop
It depends which version of the app you use will determine how successful you will be

You could alternatively use a native and opensource app which will run cleaner and more reliably. Lightroom will also fall into this category.

If you can find the backgammon in software centre then install it, otherwise you will need a deb or 3rd party repo to install from

Can you help with this problem?
