Newer Version for Ubuntu Jammy?

Hi there,

I see Skopeo Version 1.4.1 is available for Ubuntu Jammy (22.04.2 LTS) , as well Skopeo Version 1.9.3 is available for Ubuntu Lunar.
As Version 1.4.1 is an relative old release (August 2021) i would like to request to make a newer Version of Skopeo available for Jammy.

The latest official available release is version 1.12.0
( https://github.com/containers/skopeo/releases )

I think there are a lot improvements and new features that would be nice to have.

What you want requires either a SRU or a backport. You can request that by creating a bug report (see the FAQ linked above).
There is at least one PPA with version (1.9.3 for jammy, https://launchpad.net/~quarckster/+archive/ubuntu/containers maybe that is sufficient for you.
