Scanner Help

Asked by MetungKP

I have not used my scanner in a while and when I tried to use it today it didn't work.

Here is what I had to last time:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/simple-scan/+question/139890

When I run this: cd ~; wget http://people.freenet.de/go-mcpop/cism216.fw; sudo mv ./cism216.fw /usr/share/sane/gt68xx/

This is what I get: metungkp@MetungKP:~$ cd ~; wget http://people.freenet.de/go-mcpop/cism216.fw; sudo mv ./cism216.fw /usr/share/sane/gt68xx/

mv: cannot stat `./cism216.fw': No such file or directory

I found this and did it and still it did not help:

I just want to make sure I did this correctly:
##############################################################################
cism216.fw sudo cp / usr/share/sane/gt68xx /
usb 0x07b3 0x045f
override "plustek-opticslim-m12"
firmware "/usr/share/sane/gt68xx/cism216.fw"

This is the error I get when I try to launch Xsane:
Failed to open device 'gt68xx:libusb:003:004': Device busy.

I suggest you find a new source of cism216.fw as the file seems to have failed to download

I ran an update after adding the software and works perfectly.
