Unable to rename events

I'm unable to rename events, the option under events is greyed out. The folder that I've imported defaults to name of the month which I don't appear to be able to change. I'm using Ubuntu 12.04, Shotwell 0.12.3. Can anyone help me work out how to do this?

Hi Nigel,

There are two ways to rename events. Please try this:

Click on the event you would like to rename. Make sure you're not clicking on a folder, but an event contained within a folder
(You cannot change the names of folders in Shotwell). You should see the event name highlighted. Next, you can choose to edit the event name either by clicking on Events > Rename Event or right clicking on the event itself. You will then notice that the event name IS editable. Simply type the desired name and hit enter.
