libapache2-mod-shib2 -> libapache2-mod-shib3 in bionic?

So - Shibboleth has some security issues and is now EOL. The latest supported version of SP is Shibboleth v3. COSMIC has Shibboleth v3 but is not a LTS release.

Are there any plans to update Shib SP v2.6 to Shib SP v3 for bionic?

I suggest that you create a bug report, mentioning that shibboleth Version 2.* is declared EOL.

Remark:
It seems that further packaging work for shibboleth (e.g. for DISCO) happens with the name shibboleth-sp https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shibboleth-sp
