problem with password in 11.10 version

I'm new with Ubuntu and I have just installed the 11.10 version. when I tried to install some programs, the password seems to be wrong. It has worked before, when I installed upgrades. I can't even access my account settings because it's 'wrong' password. Also, how can I disable this feature.

password unchanged

I forgot to mention... this happens like 30 min after the installation of ubuntu 11.10. Just forgets password for my account and i'm unable to install anything..
